Mozhi

On 19 june 2023 , Mathematics association 'HESTIA'  has organized a reading day programme named "Mozhi". The programme was inaugurated by Reghu Sir , M.Ed department. The programme aim to improve the reading and speaking skills among students

We set the competition into two rounds. Before going to the programme we classify the students into five groups.

ROUND 1

Round 1 is a comprehension round. We give an English passage to each group and instruct them to read carefully. The time period allotted was five minutes. After they read the passage we give a couple of related questions to check their precision in reading. 



ROUND 2

Round 2 focused on Malayalam  speking skills. Members from each group has to participate this session. They deliver a one minute speech in Malayalam related to a topic that they select through taking lot.  The students are selected for this session  in an strange manner. Because 5th group will decide the students from 1st group for the competition,  1st decides 5th and the following order. The important instruction was they don't speak any English word in the speech .

After completing two sessions. We add the total marks for each group . There is a tie in two groups.So we need a third round to declare the winner.

Round 3 was a tongue twister round . A member from each two groups has to come and take a lot and  repeat the line in ten times clearly. The round was so much fun and everyone enjoyed a lot. We will declare the winner in our next assembly.

  Chapter 8. 8th Week of Teaching Practice (04/12/2023 - 08/12/2023) " Mathematics is a journey not a destination"                   Correct we were in a journey of new experiences. But now it is the time to break it. This is the most crucial and heart touching week of our teaching practice. We leave some happiness here. Because only the school atmosphere can create that happiness.                         We were already completedour 40 lesson plans. We organised field study and a conscentization program in this week. Also we could complete these works successfully. Arranged all these works as a team. Our Physical education observation was conducted on this week.                     The  general observation of my class by Maya ma'am was also completed in this week.                 ...

Chapter 5. 5th Week of Teaching Practice (13/11/2023 - 17/11/2023) "A+B=76  A-B=38 A/B=?" ☺ "If you want to Shine like a Sun. First Burn like a Sun....."             This week contributed so many memories in our journey. On 13/11/2023 we were callback to college for the election procedures. We elected our association representatives. They were elected the new college union members.          Somany programmes were arranged by the school as part of Children's day celebration. Class teachers were busy for made the students ready for the programmes... I couldn't see the children's day rally because I had class at that time. So I missed it.       On 15th Maya ma'am again visited the school for observing the classes. But in fortunately I had no class at that time. So she couldn't observe my class.

മണ്ണിന് ഒരു ദിനം :ഡിസംബർ 5🌴🌳

  ഇന്ന് ലോക മണ്ണ് ദിനം....... സത്യത്തിൽ ഇന്നത്തെ ദിവസത്തിന് ഇങ്ങനൊരു പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ള കാര്യം എനിക്കറിയില്ലായിരുന്നു. എനിക്കെന്നല്ല നമ്മളിൽ പലർക്കും ഉണ്ടാവില്ല. മണ്ണിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കാൻ നമ്മൾ എത്രമാത്രം അതിനെ ഉപദ്രവിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്, മലിനമാക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എന്ന് തിരിച്ചറിയാൻ......... സാധിക്കട്ടെ Natural Science കാരുടെ ഇന്നത്തെ മണ്ണ് ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പരിപാടി വളരെ നന്നായിരുന്നു.ലളിതമായമായ രീതിയിൽ വളരെ മനോഹരമായാണ് അവർ പരിപാടി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. കേരളത്തിലെ വിവിധ തരം മണ്ണിനങ്ങളും. ഓരോ ജില്ലയിലെ മണ്ണിനങ്ങൾ പരിചയപെടുത്തിക്കൊണ്ടുള്ള ചാർട്ടും ഒക്കെ മനോഹരമായിരുന്നു... ഇന്നത്തെ വിശേഷങ്ങൾ........ "Deforestation and afforestation benefits : its effect on soil erosion " അഗസ്റ്റിൻ മാത്യു എന്ന റിസർച്ചർ മുന്നോട്ടു വെച്ച ഈ ആശയം അവർ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. വിവിധയിനം മണ്ണിനങ്ങൾ.............. മണ്ണിനെ അറിയാം... മണ്ണിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കാം......
